These Young People Are Bringing Affordable Internet To South African Townships

Ko'Kasi Hotspot describe themselves as a "next generation Wi-Fi and online solutions provider for businesses, venues and communities".

They are a youth run startup that is looking to spread affordable internet access to townships in South Africa.

I paid them a visit to learn more about them and speak to some of their customers.

Founded in 2012 by Martin Letsie, Ko'Kasi Hotspot has grown from strength to stregth to serve (currently) the Johannesburg (South Africa) township communities of Vosloorus and (parts of) Soweto with plans to expand across more townships across South Africa.
