This Is How Nigerians Reacted When TechPlus Brought A Driverless Car to Lagos

To promote the second edition of Techplus, the organizers decided to pull off a publicity stunt in partnership with MTN Nigeria by bringing out a driverless car to Lagos to thrill Nigerians and raise awareness about the event that will be taking place on the 21st – 23rd of July 2016 at Eko Hotel Conference & Exhibition Centre.

Somewhat expected, residents in Ikeja and Maryland areas of Lagos Mainland couldn’t believe what their eyes were seeing.

In the video below, a man speaking Yoruba is seen looking into the driver’s side trying to confirm to others that there is no one sitting in the front seats of the overly branded car.

We hope to see more awesome tech at Techplus 2016.
