Direct Pay Online Group Expands Into Botswana And Namibia Through Acquisition Of Virtual Card Systems

Afrikan payments technology company Direct Pay Online Group (DPO) have announced that they wik be expanding into Botswana and Namibia as they will be acquiring Virtual Card Service' (VCS) operations in Botswana and Namibia.

“The VCS team have built a leading market position in the Botswanan and Namibian payments landscapes by offering a distinguished suite of services to all organisations requiring automated, high volume and secure card payment processing. We look forward to working together to continue the Group’s growth story and expanding further within Africa.” said Offer Gat, DPO Group Chairperson.

The acquisition of VCS operations Botswana and Namibia will be followed by DPO acquiring 100% of VCS operations in South Africa. The acquisition follows the group’s recent acquisition of PayGate (Pty) Ltd, the leading South African online payments gateway. The further expansion into southern Africa will further embed DPO Group’s position, as the leading payments solution on the African continent.
