South Africa's Telkom and Business Connexion have announced the launch of BCX, which aims to become Afrika’s premier end-to-end information communication technology (ICT) solutions provider. In 2015 Telkom acquired Business Connexion for approximately $200 million (R 2,67 billion).
“The launch of BCX is truly the beginning of a new chapter of digitalisation for Africa,” said Isaac Mophatlane, CEO of BCX.

BCX says that "digitalisation has become a top priority for businesses throughout Africa" and that it has become clear that companies that do not invest in digital solutions will be left behind as the business landscape continues to evolve.
BCX has an African footprint with its international subsidiaries which are in Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania, Namibia, Zambia and Botswana. It also has presence in Dubai and the United Kingdom.
