South Africa's Blockchain Academy in partnership with the Satoshi Centre will be teaching developers in Botswana how to develop blockchain applications using Bitcoin.
The training is set to take place from 1 to 2 May 2017.
"We are seeing a real demand for blockchain skills in South Africa and we expect to see this in Botswana among other African countries soon, as companies are starting to research and build proof-of-concepts with blockchain technology. This is an extremely interesting space to be involved in and provides many opportunities for incumbents and individuals to experiment with this emerging and disruptive technology." said Sonya Kuhnel, Managing Director of the Blockchain Academy.
South Africa's Blockchain Academy was founded in 2015 to provide Bitcoin training and education in both South Africa, Zimbabwe and India.
