iflix has announced announced the launch of their video streaming service in Ghana. The company has said that a month's subscription for users in Ghana will cost $2.40 (GHC 10.75).
An annual subscription to iflix Ghana will come in at a discounted $19.40 (GHC 86).

Apart from international shows which are obtained through partnerships with studios and global content distributors, including Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Disney, Warner Bros and the BBC among others, iflix Ghana subscribers wI'll also enjoy Ghanaian dramas and variety shows, such as African Tales-Bleeding heart, Wo Taa Ta Me, Bitter Chocolate, Rainstorm, Almighty and many more.
Earlier in 2017 iflix raised and closed on a funding round of $90 million from Liberty Global and Zain. This is after iflix in 2015 raised $30 million in funding from EMC and Catcha group.
