“Tupuca has been officially introduced to the world. We believe that we have unlocked new opportunities by winning Seedstar Luanda 2017. We can't wait to see what Moçambique and the rest of the world have to offer,” said Erickson Mvezi, co-founder at Tupuca.

“Tupuca competed in last year’s edition as well but weren’t strong enough at that time to win. We are extremely proud of the progress they have made since then, and for them to come back with so much traction this edition does not only show courage, but also determination and persistence. Tupuca is the deserved winner of this year’s edition.” said Claudia Makadristo, Regional Manager for Africa at Seedstars World.

"As an Investment firm focused in Angola for over a decade, we are very happy to see and be part of organizations like Seedstars coming into the Angolan market and further igniting the entrepreneurial energy in this still very young country. It has grown for the last 3 years, every year becoming a more impressive event, and look forward to seeing it continue to grow for many more." concluded Alexander Thomson, President and Founder at TGI group, who were the main spnsors of the event.Share this article via:
