The first one in the 1780s where steam, water and mechanical equipment were responsible for the changes and developments, 1870s (electricity and mass production), 1960s (Information Technology and automated production), and now since 2010 is undergoing the 4th industrial revolution driven by robotics, IoT, Artificial Intelligence, to name a few. The question we will be exploring is how ready Afrika is for this and how can this help Afrika with radical economic transformation.
